Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow-N-Fire Nashville Sport reviews
MMJ = Awesome!
The vocals were delivered with spot-on passion for over two hours, and Jim James seemed like a madman playing for his life in the best way possible. The band played with intensity and conviction, putting on a really superb show. I have never heard a better mix at an outdoor show (and that is not a small collection of performances), with all the instruments and vocals clearly audible.
According to Jim James, this was an outdoor show in a wonderful tree-lined ampitheater where "it feels like we are all at summer camp." I wish I had summer camps like this as a kid. A long set list with lots of deep cuts and favorites provided enough for me to feel totally satisfied, but it didn't wear my wife out. Overall, Fantastic! I would put this show in my top 5 all-time.
Band of Horses gets a B. I am a fan and was initially just as excited to see them, but Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow-N-Fire really blew them off the stage.
